Ted Kennedy was Captain for the 1945-1946-1947 and 1951, The were the First NHL Dynasty as they won the title 3 times in a row. Ted still holds the record for being the youngest player to score a Stanley Cup Game winning goal in 1947

Ted Kennedy was originally a Montreal Prospect, The Leafs traded for the 16 Year old Center.Franke Selke was intern GM for Conn Smythe as he was away doing WW2 duty. The trade cost Toronto Dman Frank Eddols. Ironically the next year Selke left to Manage the Canadians.
Ted was named 2nd Team All-Star in 1950-1951 and 1954
